♥ Life of a shopaholic! ♥

Sorry for the really long gap between my posts these days.. I don't have the time to blog...Arrrgghhh...

For those who dunno, I just changed my portfolio in work, Hence super busy picking up new things and Damn I feel damn stupid la... Shit.... Hate that feeling u noe, where u gotta start everything all over again, learn from scratch and fumble around..

The feeling is esp bad just when you're really comfortable with your old portfolio such that you've outgrown the fumbling period and moved onto the I'm happy with my job cos there's no problem I can't solve stage...

So now you wanna ask me why did I leave my old portfolio then if I'm starting to like it right?

Because...

I know I'm going to reach the I'm bored of my work stage...

So since an opportunity was knocking on my door, why not jump? But...damn.... I hate this feeling... God help me.

On top of that, I'm starting school again. Like tonight's my first class. SHIT...I'm stress... ARRRRgggghhhhh... I'm amazed at my ability to kick my own ass... I seem to always do that. Now, who can save me? Next time if I complain to any of you, please don't reply me with the..."Well..you've made your own decision, hence you've gotta live with the consequences" crap...I'm gonna hate you for life for saying that.. LOL.

And yes, if you've read Fa's post...went to my school's alumni dinner (reason why we went..it's a class gathering with free food)...Ok...we're cheapo people.. but anyway... It was a big regret...Damn...I'm nv going to turn up for any of those shit. It's really bad ok... Wait till I get the pics.. and videos of the lousy band. Lol... And worse of all...One of my ex-lecturer went up to stage to perform some cheesy magic show to us...HELLO~ We're so past that age...So he only had 3 audiences, 3 kids from some old alumnis I guess... His "magic tricks" are those you can purchase from the toy store...it's actually some readymade cheap looking props.. Gosh... I dunno to laff or to faint. But I was better than fa..at least I still had appetite to eat. Wahaha...But the food kindof suck too.hehe.So, we left after we ate... Realistic people.Wahahaa.....

Went to meet fa's poly mates for movies afterwards... Prissie say was real bad..So I told Fa and tian that it's a "zero star" show.... And guess what..We were the only 3 who pretty much enjoyed the show.. After the show our reaction was..."Not so bad wad?" Lol...but for the rest...they fell asleep... So I guess the show must be really bad...just that the 3 of us had super low expectations. Wahaha...Me too... I actually wanna know what's going to happen next...hahaha

The one who said she'll nv step foot on batam again has actually asked us if we wanted to go for spa at Harris...BATAM....LOL.....

Cheap & good spa is addictive...
A&W is addictive...
Cheap & good seafood is addictive...

So here we go again...

Booked on thurs, went on sat... I needed the spa break so badly man...been OT-ing the whole week thru...can die ar...too stressed up...

Us at the reception doing our check in... I must say they got really good service there.. We didn't have to wait long cos one of the staff came up to us and brought us to the bar to do our check in, instead of queuing with the rest.

Went shopping in the mall and we discovered a really eeky sight...

Gross right? It's like so unhygienic..We even saw hair in it... YUCKS!!

next stop...A&W..
Burger for you? (And I'm secretly praying that the nuggets are not from the eeky pile in the supermarket)

It's a huge lump of rice burger...they serve nugget plus rice...so wierd combi..

And of cos for desserts....their waffles...

I'm craving for more waffles now... Why don't they just re-open A&W in singapore...

the highlight of the trip...

The Spa...It was in a hut with your own bathtub and shower inside...Quite nice...And the scrub plus massage was excellent! Woohoo~

Went to do community work last thursday... so shagged man...standing out in the sun painting...

Does it remind you of those taiwan or hong kong drama where they paint for community works too? hahahha
Fated to love you has that scene...To paint a "Story House aka Gu shi Wu" for the kids in the church... lol.... same stunt carried out here...

And I must say that I'm very proud of our final artpiece...ta dah....

except for my lil piglet back there that looks really distorted...Apparently, Piglet's face is real difficult to draw... wahahha...

Another container which we did work one... THis one...I only helped in painting it white...lol

Ok..this post is really late..Cos fa blogged like so long ago...but haven had feeling~ to blog...wahaha...

Anyway... as you all shld have known by now. We went to walk the Southern Ridges..it's freaking 9km... I'm so proud of myself..Wahahaha..A great accomplishment!

Have finished reading

(courtesy of Prissie once again...)
a long time ago, but haven had the time and mood to blog this... wahaha...

This book is damn dry compared to the first book, which also explains why I took a longer time to finish. It keeps explaining in scientific terms why men & women react differently,because our there's a slight difference in our brain, etc etc.... so in order not to bore you as well, let me share the main gist...

The main reason why Men & Women collide is due to stress....

which is true..when we're not stressed, everything is good...=)

That's because men & women cope with stress differently--->Men wants to hide while women wants to talk...
Which you can see why we've got a problem... Women talk when men wanna hide=nagging..lol

Anyway, so what we could do is that when women are stressed, we should just look for our girl friends to chat... Girls love to listen and share our complaints, after girl's talk, we're bound to feel much better.

As for the guys, just leave them to hideaway.... when they are ready, they will resurface... Don't ka jiao them when they are in their hideout, because they'll take a longer time to resurface...

Okok... all you out there... don't quarrel already ar...lol.....

This is a super short summary of the book, still got lots of other interesting lil bits here and there, if you wanna know...go read it yourself...too lazy to type it all out...hehe

Haven blogged for so long not becos I was being a tai tai, but cos my office was under going reno... Moved to a temp office which looked like those illegal bookie office=open concept=zero privacy=no blogging....

Today is my first day back in my new cubicle.. New everything...Yippee!

Went for medical checkup... Haven been like to a thorough routine check up since God knows when.
Last recall was my check up before my work started... but that's like not very thorough...Moreover, I didn't even get back my results...Not counted...

Guess what?
I'm actually down with high cholesterol...
I always tot that was like an old people diease... SHIT!!! I'm freaking 22 and i got high cholesterol... Siao liao lo.... Totally freaked out...
Now I'm gonna have to watch my diet and exercise...SObz...this one cannot eat...that one cannot eat...hai.... still need to exercise...even more...Hai~~~
